A) Presentation Skills
Well to start with, it’s not really a
course in the conventional sense of the word. It's a workshop. By
that we mean that the emphasis is on interaction and
experimentation.
Students learn by doing, feeling and
seeing. Not just by listening. We're not here to just tell them the
theory - we are here to help them learn by experiencing it for
themselves! We ensure that an energized atmosphere is maintained
throughout the workshop to maximize their learning potential.
Skills are acquired through a series of
practical exercises that allow students to work intensively on
specific techniques (eg tone of voice, voice projection, body
language, physical presence) before incorporating them in your
presentations.
Presentation practice is integrated
throughout the course to avoid a build up of nerves towards a ‘final
presentation’.
And the best part is ,we guarantee them that they‘ll also be
learning from a trainer who is experienced in bringing out the best
in people of all levels of experience.
B) A Guide to Successful Interviewing
Candidate land in an interview for a
seemingly wonderful job! Now what? Successful interviewing will be
essential in order for them to lock in an offer. We at TEFL
International will give some tips and strategies for effective
interviewing from preparation through delivery. Starting with an
overview of the key to positive interviewing.
Many of today's recruiters have adopted
behavioral interviewing as their preferred method of screening
candidates. Thus we will prepare them for this common interviewing
approach by reviewing Behavioral Based Interviewing.
Mistakes! We will teach them to avoid
some of the typical interviewing blunders.
Practice Makes Perfect (or at least leads
to improvement). We will schedule mock interview for them, encourage
them to practice with a friend and a inculcating in them to tape
their responses so that they can replay the interview and see how
well they did. Prepare answers to commonly asked interview
questions. Doing so will help them analyze their background and
qualifications for the position. Finally, try and relax!
